The CAC Oscar platoons were part of Sub Unit 5 from 1 February until 15 July 1967.  At that time they were reassigned to Sub Unit 4 which was head quartered in Phu Bai.  There were three CAC Oscar platoons.  O-1 was in the Khe Sanh village.  O-2 was near the Poilane plantation.  O-3 was in the Bru ville near the base.  Here are some pictures of CAC Oscar Marines.

These four Marines from CAC Oscar lost their lives on 27 June 1967.  They were part of a patrol sent to investigate the suspected launch site of an NVA mortar attack on the base just after midnight on the 27th.

I may be wrong, but I believe this building was the Hoang Hoa district headquarters  Anyway, it was in the Khe Sanh ville area. It may also have been part of the coffee plantation.
